Boys and Frogs

Can you say A-DORABLE?!!! It's Thursday and time for a little Imagine That Digistamp inspiration. My card uses the sweet Raymond's Frogs and two pieces of scrap pattern paper. Not only do I have a stack of digital images I've printed off but never used on a project, but I also have digital papers printed off!!! I am addicted and proudly admit it!! I'm just trying to make myself use up what I've got in these piles...I'll let you know how that goes!!!!! For more inspiration from members of the Imagine That Digistamp design team, head on over to the Creative Playground.

Gift Card Holder

Welcome to the Anything But a Card Monday over at Catch the Bug. Today I have a gift card holder to share. I found the "how to's" on Pinterest and used the Balloon Monkey image from Bugaboo. Let me tell ya, in case you don't know, but you can spend HOURS on Pinterest if you're not careful!!! Great place for that much needed inspiration sometimes! The monkey was cut out using my Scan N Cut and colored with copics. He's popped up on a panel that I sponged green and blue ink. Now I planned on putting on a small cloud die cut or two but, as I mentioned about spending a lot of time on Pinterest, it was 2am before I knew it and I simply forgot!!! Check out some other fun ABC projects over at Catch the Bug.

Challenges I'm submitting my project to include:
Craft Rocket - Animal Kingdom
Cute Card Thursday - Bright Colors

Sending Hugs

Our CAS challenge this week at The Outlawz is to create a card with at least one butterfly. Simple, right? I'm into butterflies lately so I had lots of options to choose from! Here is my card using the Large Butterfly Frame from WPlus9, Big Hugs die from Papertrey Ink, sentiment from Stamp of Approval collection by Catherine Pooler, and the ombre paper from Stampin' Up. This was so quick and easy, I ended up making 4 cards!!!

Here it is in old olive.

Here it is in crushed curry.

And here it is in dapper denim.

Looks like I've got a fresh supply of cards for my stash. And thanks to the simple statement, they can be used for any occasion. Now join us at The Outlawz and share your butterfly card.

I'm submitting my card to the following challenge:
Addicted to CAS - Friends
Fussy and Fancy - Things with wings
Moving Along With the Times - Starting with the letter B
Crafty Gals Corner - Punches or dies

Sending You Sunny Smiles

It's Oldie But Goodie Thursday over at Catch the Bug and I decided to use this adorable Pup Summer image from Bugaboo. I used the color version of this digi...what a time saver!!! Also I found it in my stack of printed images...and it was already die cut out!!!!! Score!! I pulled out some scrap pattern papers and my card is complete! Better hurry up and get it in the mail, summer is on its way out!! For more fun OBG cards from Bugaboo, head over to Catch the Bug.

Angels

Well, well, well, would you look at that!!! Here it is Wednesday and I just now realized I never posted my CAS card from Sunday's challenge over at The Outlawz. Our theme is angels so my mind immediately went to Christmas. I found this angel stamp deep in my stash which means it has never seen ink!!! YIKES! I first stamped it in the cranberry ink in my Misti then stamped it again using versamark and clear heat embossed it. It's popped up on a layer of pattern paper that I white heat embossed the swirl then sponged over with some caramel ink. This would be so easy to mass produce...I just may have to do that!!!

Have a Merry Holiday

The Bugaboo design team is back from vacation and let me tell you, it sure was needed!! This week at Catch the Bug, we're playing a little bingo...so fun!!

Here's my card, using the adorable Theodore Christmas Present from Bugaboo. I found this in my pile of printed off images so I went with it. For bingo, I'm playing the top horizontal line of embossing, ribbon and charm. I sure hope you can join us over at Catch the Bug for some bingo fun!

Thursdays at the Creative Playground is inspiration from the Imagine That Digistamp design team. I couldn't resist playing with the adorable Giraffe With Butterflies image...what a sweetie!!! I also used a piece of Giraffe Pattern digital paper, also from Imagine That Digistamp. A quick card, just the way I like it. And yes, that's a little piece of washi tape. I have so much of it, it's time to start using it!!! Now head over to the Creative Playground for more inspiration.

Frappuccino Anyone?

Here's my last coffee card, this time a cool frappuccino, topped with whipped cream and colorful straw!! I embossed the lid outline onto vellum so you could see the yummy goodness underneath. I seem to notice another trend besides the coffee theme...I've been using doilies with my projects, something I have never done before!!! Showing my feminine side I guess!! Hahaha!!

Coffee Cafe

Told you I was addicted to this Stampin' Up Coffee Cafe bundle!! Here is card #2...be ready for another one tomorrow!! I adore the designer series paper with its wonderful blue, greens and brown. A fabulous color combination.

Tomorrow morning Brian and I are flying out to Denver to visit with Phillip!! I can't wait! He needs our help buying a couch and coffee or end table, depending on how much room he's got. We've Facetimed so I have an idea of what his apartment looks like. I know I'll drive him crazy trying to give it the mother's touch!!! Wish us all luck!!

Now I hope you can join us the week at The Outlawz for our latest CAS challenge.

Flamingo Birthday

It's time for a little Thursday inspiration over at the Creative Playground. I absolutely couldn't resist playing with another flamingo set from Imagine That Digistamp!! This time I used Flamingo Birthday along with two of the wonderful digital papers included in this set. And surprise, I did a fancy fold card too (at least to me it's fancy since all I ever do is the standard A2 card!!). This is a Z-fold card...oh so simple yet really, really cute!!! I'm sending this one to my niece in Florida for her birthday in a couple weeks. I think she'll absolutely love it!! Now head on over to the Creative Playground for more inspiration. And while you're there, check out our monthly challenge too for your chance at winning a gift certificate to the Imagine That Digistamp store.

I'm Dreaming of a Pink Christmas

I'm so sad that our beach vacation is coming to a close. I really don't want to leave!!! It's a new month and time for a new link-up challenge at the Creative Playground. This fabulous flamingo is part of the featured set, Flamingo Dress Up, that you can get free just by playing along with our monthly Anything Goes challenge AND using an Imagine That Digistamp image. Can you believe it, I actually colored this image all by myself!!! Definitely not a strong point of mine!! The paper and sentiment are a sneak peek of a new set being released next week so be sure and come back then to see all that's fabulous and flamingo!! Also, join us for a month long Link-Up challenge at the Creative Playground.
