Ahoy There!

It's time to share the latest sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Now I'm not gonna lie, I didn't know what I was going to do with this one!! But then my Stampin' Up order arrived and I realized I now had the perfect stamp set!

I used the fun Seaside Shores stamp set and paper from Stampin' Up along with the Whimsical Waves background stamp by My Favorite Things. Love the color combo, perfectly beachy. Now I'm ready for a little rest and relaxation that only the beach can provide!! Please join our fun challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

Baby Shower Cards

This week at The Outlawz the CAS team is challenging you to share a "shower" card. I was inspired by the baby shower I was at just a week ago! And of course I had to make a boy and girl version of the same card!! The die set is the Baby Shower Dies by Paper Smooches. The cute little chickie is sparkled up using a wink of stella pen.

And here is the girl version. Both make use of some scraps...gotta love that! The diaper pin on this one is also glittered up with the wink of stella pen. So fun and quick & easy to make. Now join us this week at The Outlawz for some April showers!!

Hello

Hello -- well now I have that Adele song stuck in my head!!! It's time to share an "Oldie Bug Goodie" Bugaboo image today and I went with the adorable Sew Sunbonnet - Thimble. This will be perfect for my mother-in-law who is rehabing following a knee replacement and stroke. She is quite the seamstress, and I know a lot of people are missing her and all her alteration skills.

As you may know, Bugaboo has a new shop. Jodie is working non-stop everyday adding image files (over 3500 in total!!). If you don't see an image or did not receive an invite via email to reactivate your account, please send her an email - jodie@bugaboostamps.com. Meanwhile, take a moment to look thru the store, bet you can find images you never saw before...I know I did!!! Also, be sure and check out what other DT members are creating this week at Catch the Bug.

Missing You

Thursdays over at the Creative Playground mean inspiration from the Imagine That Digistamp design team. Today I created with the recently released set Pierrette. So many wonderful images in both outline and colored (beautifully may I add!). I kept my card very simple, using some digi paper from Beary in Love and linen thread.

Speaking of releases, there's a new one from yesterday called Retro Waitress. IT IS ADORABLE!!! Be sure and check it out. Also don't forget to join our monthly link-up challenge HERE at the Creative Playground. Use an Imagine That Digistamp image and receive the featured set Rainy Day Fun free!! Lots going on so be sure and check it all out.

New Release From Bugaboo

Today is new release day at Bugaboo!! Have you checked out the new store yet? You really should, it's fantastic!! Here is Dino Birthday, perfect for a fun card to celebrate. As soon as I saw him, I knew I had to make him purple. Does anyone else remember Barney the purple dinosaur? My oldest absolutely LOVED him!! Sorry to say but boy was he annoying!! I stamped the sentiment from a Paper Trey Ink stamp set called Keep it Simple: Birthday Mini. Bright colored scraps helped me finish up this project. Be sure and take a look what other DT members created using this image over at Catch the Bug, talk about talent!!

Sending Happy Wishes

A new sketch has been posted at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge that I hope you'll give a try.

Here's my card, stampin' and die cuttin' and having a blast!!! The flowers are from the stamp set Blooms 'N Buds by Reverse Confetti and the sentiment is from the stamp set Happy Wishes by WP9. I had fun with this card, even though flower arranging isn't my strong suit!!! Now it's your turn to show your creation with us at the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. See you there!!

You're Special

April is autism awareness month and Kristy from Imagine That Digistamp has released a new digi set called Autism Awareness Kids. It's such a sweet set. My youngest son is autistic so of course I had to use the boy image on my card!!! The paper also comes in this set. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches - Sentiment Sampler. Everyone would keep telling me I have a special needs child (don't you think I know that!!!!). I finally spoke up and said no, he doesn't have special needs, he's just special!!! No comebacks after that!! You can get your own set of Autism Awareness Kids from Imagine That Digistamp HERE...included is a badge to display on your blog with pride!!

Hello Friend

I did a little stamping "just for fun" over the weekend. I ended up making 4 of the same cards, just different colors. I stamped the background (an old Stampin' Up background stamp) then die cut it out using the Postage Stamp infinity dies by Hero Arts. The sentiment comes from the Bloomin' Cute stamp set by Paper Trey Ink. Super simple and perfect for making multiples.

Here's the pink one. I also made one in yellow and one in peach but they were dropped off into the mailbox before I realized I didn't get a picture taken!!! Oh well!!

Have a Great Day

Today's Clean & Simple challenge at The Outlawz is to use a map on your card. I found an old Basic Grey paper pack with a map of sorts in it so I went with it. The bike and sentiment come from an old Hero Arts set called Joy Ride. As you guessed it, this card was a snapped to put together...once I came up with the design!!!! Hope you can join us at The Outlawz for our CAS challenge.

Sure hope you can join us for some Saturday morning fun for our anything goes challenge at Catch the Bug.

And here's my card using this set. Of course I couldn't resist using the little boy, he's so cute! I went with the rainbow colors scheme with him also. While the image was still in the die, I sponged some light blue ink around...it looks better in real life. Now be sure and join us this month at the Creative Playground for our April link-up challenge. Remember to use an Imagine That Digistamp to be eligible for the featured set, Rainy Day Fun.
